Blueway Ocean Foundation and Gloesel Int’l Ltd have sponsored and partnered with the fourth edition of the Uyo Bikers Groove 2026, bringing more than 500 power bike riders from different clubs across Nigeria to Uyo for a celebration of biking, friendship and responsible recreation.
Held from September 17 to 20, 2026, and themed “Ride Clean,” the event featured a colourful display of power bikes, parades, music, games, food and entertainment. It formed part of the wider Usoro Akwa Ibom 2026 festivities, with Unity Park along Udoudoma Avenue serving as a major activity centre.

The sponsorship by Blueway Ocean Foundation underscores its commitment to community engagement, social responsibility and initiatives that foster positive relationships and bring people together.

The Managing Director of Blueway Ocean Foundation, Mr. Iniodu Ndada, was present at the event and joined bikers, stakeholders and other participants in the celebration.
Mr. Ndada thanked the bikers for choosing Akwa Ibom State as the host destination for their fourth Groove, noting that the decision had created economic opportunities for businesses across the state.

According to him, the influx of more than 500 bikers and other visitors resulted in increased patronage for hotels, restaurants and other businesses, providing a boost to entrepreneurs and service providers in the state.
He said the large turnout also highlighted the potential of cultural and tourism activities to contribute to the development of Akwa Ibom State, in line with the Arise Agenda of the Governor Umo Eno-led administration.

Mr. Ndada urged the bikers to continue to make Akwa Ibom their preferred destination for similar events in the future, assuring them of the state’s security and warm hospitality.

Also receiving the bikers was the Board of Trustees Chairman of Blueway Ocean Foundation, Mr. Rehoboth Umo Eno, who welcomed a delegation of the riders during a courtesy visit to his office.
Mr. Umo Eno welcomed the bikers to Akwa Ibom State and assured them of the warm hospitality of the people. He encouraged them to explore the state and experience its ongoing infrastructural renaissance under the administration of Governor Umo Eno.

He further pledged to be integrally involved in the next edition of the Uyo Bikers Groove, signalling his continued support for the initiative.
The leader of the Uyo Bikers Groove, Mr. Johnie Ndukeebong, popularly known as “Pope,” expressed appreciation to Blueway Ocean Foundation for its sponsorship and partnership.

He commended the Foundation for identifying with the biking community and supporting an initiative that promotes friendship, unity and responsible recreation among participants from different parts of Nigeria.

The partnership between Blueway Ocean Foundation and Gloesel Int’l Ltd provided significant corporate support for the fourth edition, helping to create a platform where bikers, residents and visitors could connect and celebrate.
Beyond the spectacle of the motorcycles, the Groove provided an opportunity for riders to interact, exchange experiences and promote responsible riding under the “Ride Clean” theme.

The fourth edition has added colour to Uyo’s social calendar while also contributing to economic activity, tourism visibility and community interaction through recreation and entertainment.
