The second ministers’ meeting of Christ Compassion to the World in preparation for the upcoming Akwa Ibom Mega Crusade has ended in Uyo with a call on gospel ministers to close ranks for a successful hosting of the programme.
The meeting held at The Believers Assembly Evangelical Nigeria in Uyo, today, drew participants from the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and all denominations of the Christian faith to chart the way forward for the November crusade.
Convener of the Uyo Extravagant Crusade, Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo, commended Governor Umo Eno for approving a befitting venue for the crusade, while also stating plans to reach out to the poor, the sick, and other vulnerable people with massive donations during the outreach.
In his remarks, the Prelate of The Believers Assembly, Professor Isaiah Isong, described the initiative as timely. He thanked the crusade convener for the vision and urged all Christian leaders to get involved in both the planning and execution of the event.
The planned Crusade tagged : UYO THIS IS EXTRAVAGANT LOVE CRUSADE is billed for November 23 – 28, 2026 at the Goodwill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
